In a horrifying and exciting atmosphere, this series presents a new story in each season, following it from the beginning till its' end. And it has managed to achive great success and get high rates among the critics. In this season, we see a new exciting story which takes after the final people who survived after the Apocalypse. They have to follow particular rules if they want to keep in safe.
The dialog pushes through a lot of exposition, but it's done efficiently and in an entertaining fashion. Certainly, there's more gender politics involved this week, but it works.
"Boy Wonder" written by John J. Gray set up the final wheels that when in motion let the Coven transcend back to American Horror Story Season 1: Murder House seamlessly.
Even for a season all about intertwined references, this week went above and beyond when it came to fan service - but its campy tone ensured that everything landed just right.
Carefully crafting within the episode through deconstructed time, "Boy Wonder" is the episode American Horror Story: Coven fans have been waiting for, setting up the perfect return for Murder House.
