All of those questions are answered, at least somewhat, in the episode, but it's not filled with a lot of shocking twists and turns. However, it is an episode that is incredibly Pittsburgh Steelers-centric (boo).
And because getting upset about events that may never come to pass is my specialty, this brings me perverse joy. It's like my anxiety just got a straight-to-series order!
So, needless to say, Rebecca finds herself in a unique position during tonight's "The Game Plan," one I'm sure many women can sympathize (and empathize) with.
Tonight's episode stood out as more moving, and less cheesy, than its predecessors. This Is Us might just be finding its footing - after tonight, the rest of the season is looking a lot more promising.
"The Game Plan" may have felt a bit scattered, in that it relied heavily on its flashbacks, but it still managed to accentuate the characters' personal journeys in a powerful manner.
