Trying to fix her marriage, Allison comes in contact with Noah on a resort where they both where vacating. little did she know that the sparks between them will lead them into more temptations beyond their control.
This was a juicy episode, written by the playwright David Henry Hwang... with flashes of dark humor in the second half (when Noah went to fetch Alison from the new-age retreat where she had been staying while exiled from Brooklyn).
Through tears, Maura Tierney continues her spectacular performance this season with this speech about Helen's love for Noah, even though all Margaret ever did was make her feel like dirt for choosing him.
The scene where Helen tells Noah that he's an excellent father to their children is a fascinating one because it comes from Helen's perspective, not Noah's.
