That's a whole lot of plot for one week of The Affair. On a lesser show with lesser actors and writers, this would have felt like one big plot dump, but on this show it works surprisingly well.
Did the affair just end? The Affair still has four episodes left in its first season, but the relationship between Noah and Allison may already be over.
