The fifth season starts with Kara trying to fix her relationship with Lena after there were differences between them. In the meantime, J'onn J'onzz takes more thought about his memory and recalls more events. Kelly tries to help an old friend who is in real trouble, and Kara decided at the time to accept Pulitzer for her writing.

Numerous stand offs happening simultaneously make things entertaining but ultimately predictable... That is not to say Supergirl lacks action, empathy or a decent narrative but instead feels signposted.
Intersecting threats in the Supergirl midseason finale challenge the Super-friends to put their trust in change and second chances, and because it's Supergirl, things mostly work out.
"The Wrath of Rama Khanm" is a mid-season finale that definitely packs the punches. It is full of action and heart, which is a huge part of what brings loyal fans and newcomers to National City every week.
The most exciting thing about "The Wrath Of Rama Khan" is that it doesn't rush to wrap up Lena's arc ahead of the upcoming Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover.
