Any episode following "The Devil's Mark" last week was going to suffer in terms of pace... That being said, "Lallybroch" still did a very good job in setting up what I'm sure will be a packed venture next time.
From her arrival at Lallybroch, Claire is open and eager to learn. This hour manages to highlight many of the character's virtues, a welcome change from recent episodes where she seemed to be more of a problem-originator than a problem-solver.
