In the eighth season of this series, a psychologist appears to be disguising herself and has managed to kill a person while disguising. This scientist seems to realize that a potential suitor saw her entering the bathroom as a dark-haired woman and emerging as a blonde. Meanwhile, Frank Barley runs a private military establishment for rebel soldiers owned by General Budget, and that man is in a wheelchair.
Though somewhat repetitive, with scripts at times reworking characters and situations done before, and despite a dearth of big-name guest stars, [Peter] Falk's endearing characterization holds it all together.
We know whodunit and how, but the fun, as always, is watching Falk drive the villain nuts with no end of apparently stupid questions: "Uh, one more thing, sir."
