Season 3 opens with a teenage girl who was dumped in the garbage by her parents 17 years earlier getting approached by a man claiming to be her father, the team re-investigates the hit and run death of her father, Jimmy in 1988.
Cold Case is not only operatic, with a different bloody libretto and a different leitmotif each week, but has ambitions on the grander scale of Gesamtkunstwerk, of total Wagnerian theater-including a jukebox time machine.
