Lt John Stillman is the head of the Cold Case team, a small sub-unit of the Homicide squad tasked to investigate old unsolved murders when new leads come to light. He is a tough, but fair, old-school cop, a Vietnam vet, who is intensely loyal to his team, to the force and to the US military.
