The adventures return again during the 14th season, which seems more exciting than before. The lazy cowboys come back after Springfield has banned the use of firearms, and the Simpsons family takes vacation on an island for recreation, where Dr. Hebert can turn people into animals. The Simpsons, on the other hand, are involved in a real-life TV program, through which they can live in the same way that families lived in the 19th century without imitation or counterfeiting.
As far as the overall quality of the season, it isn't as consistently good as some earlier seasons but in the evolution of the show and the characters, it's solid.
