The Leftovers continued its hot streak this week with "Lens," further spotlighting how much the changes in cast, location, and method of storytelling have helped make Season 2 such a moving, invigorating experience.
Damon Lindelof, co-creator of The Leftovers, likes the clash between science and religion, as evidenced by the direction his past show, Lost, took towards the end of its run. "Lens" packs the two sides into a gripping, gut-punching 60-minute episode.
