The street-wise woman is at it again as she makes effort to safeguard Cosima. However Sarah is also in danger aswell and she must fight to stay alive while trying to escape the complex web. Cosima somehow has met with Delphine.
"Manacled Slim Wrists" keeps an interesting balance between the complex plot and action of the larger story, and the inherent comic relief that a character like Krystal provides.
Once again, one of Orphan Black's greatest strengths is the unexpected alchemy that comes from mixing and matching the many rich characters the show has spent five seasons developing.
I did enjoy the plots with Susan/Cosima/Mud and Sarah/Krystal/Art. However, we have a limited time with Orphan Black left, we need to make every minute count.
Orphan Black's final season is turning out to be a well-crafted run of television with a clear eyed look at the issues that it's handling. It's going out on a strong note, and its willingness to grapple with the darkness is a major reason why.
The mix of over-the-top evil -- the kind necessary for a show with emotions and ambitions as large as Orphan Black -- and broad humor works well, especially when they serve to flesh out the show's giant stable of supporters.
We've been waiting for what feels like forever for Krystal Goderitch to make her triumphant return to Orphan Black and on Saturday, she finally resurfaced!
For an hour that prominently featured Cosima held captive in a basement, Orphan Black Season 5 Episode 6 was easily one of the show's funniest installments ever.
I regret using up my best Step Brothers reference a few episodes ago, because that truism about oppressing people until they rise up has resurfaced once again, in an episode that's more transitory than anything else.
