Inspired by a holiday, this series presents a new horrifying story in each episode. The second season starts with a group of adult friends who are trapped at a terrifying game. They have to play to escape, but if they must win to survive.
Into The Dark: Good boy is one of my favorite episodes of this season. Not only is Judy Greer so perfect at being just a little creepy, the plot is great too.
You're watching Good Boy for Judy Greer, the softest pair of puppy-dog eyes in the biz, and random violence enacted by a knee-high pooch who you'd never suspect.
As you might imagine, the tonal balance between something that's part Private Life and part Cujo is a bit tough and director Tyler MacIntyre can't quite hold it together.
