A new season begins with much more excitement and comedy that follows four old women, who after their flight has to land in Cleveland, love staying in Cleveland, where they are always wanted and appreciated. In this new season, Elka asks a lawyer for help but they fall in love with him.
Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick, Jane Leeves and White have all been around the sitcom block and have fine-tuned not only their skillful line delivery, but their personae as well.
The comedy is not what you'd call inspired, but it's less brassy and brittle than it was when it first arrived, and the show's cast knows exactly how to play this kind of cheerfully one-dimensional material.
