A series of strong dramas begin with the second season. The season opens with surprise when Grace's uninvited sister arrives at the ceremony when Grace decides to spend a weekend trip to celebrate her 30th birthday. On the other hand, a Russian political technologist arranges a first date online with a veterinary nurse.
The anthology series is finally hitting its stride in its sophomore season, growing beyond a cool storytelling conceit into a star-studded, artistically prestigious endeavor.
In binging all twelve episodes, I found myself to enjoy this season far more than the first even if no single episode hits quite the same dramatic highs as the first season finale. In fact, there seems to be much more of a bend towards horror this season.
Anyone who liked an episode or two last year -- or finds themselves enticed by the premise, creators, and/or fresh talent -- should make a note to fully engage with Room 104 in Season 2.
