The third season looks more exciting than the previous season, when Archie returns to make a surprise request to everyone during his trial. On the other hand, we will be followed by another attack led by Jagged the snacks against the Golis's recent attack and Archie will move to a new environment, and there are barriers that threaten to postpone speaking.
There was much to take in this week, a variety of pieces setting themselves up for what could shape up to be a satisfying season finale, as well as the setup for season 4.
As someone who is a fan of slow burn Riverdale, this episode - the show and FP's 50th - feels like the first domino setting in motion a chain reaction that will carry on through to the end of the season.
No matter how heinous Penelope's past crimes, she borders on becoming an empathetic character because her motivation is often fueled by maternal instinct.
The writers can stick a crowbar between couples and pull as hard as they like, but no matter the relationship configurations, this is always what Riverdale will be. After fifty episodes, I wouldn't have it any other way.
