Riverdale - Season 3, Episode 03: Chapter Thirty-Eight: As Above, So Below
Trailer
The third season looks more exciting than the previous season, when Archie returns to make a surprise request to everyone during his trial. On the other hand, we will be followed by another attack led by Jagged the snacks against the Golis's recent attack and Archie will move to a new environment, and there are barriers that threaten to postpone speaking.
On a scale of creepy places to have sex, where Mary Shelley losing her virginity on her mother's grave is a 10, this is probably, okay, pretty low, but it's definitely not a zero.
This season of Riverdale is essentially a very long, fascinating tumble down a rabbit hole of Alice In Wonderland proportions for our heroes. The only problem is, these journeys couldn't be more separate.
Riverdale is off the deep end now, staring into the Mariana Trench with a gleeful smile on its face and blood on its teeth, and it's never been more entertaining.
Once again, Riverdale weaves its magic, interlacing strands of its enticing mystery through each subplot, character and entity within the series, sharpening its focus on Archie and the Gang.
Not a terrible episode by any stretch, but we want more of the killer, less of the filler. Which means once more, Archie's storyline is the dullest on this show. Sigh.
Only three episodes into the third season, and Riverdale is taking some narrative risks. This season feels like the good ol' days, and the camp-to-mystery ratio is reaching a perfect pitch.
