The series explores a set of science fiction events as a group of merciless mercenaries kills an aloof, complicating the entire course of things. One day, the innovation of this man, a new model of artificially intelligent super cars, escapes to find his daughter and recruit a former soldier to thwart them and challenge those dangers they take.
I can forgive the fact that it looks cheap and the plot line is tired. But overall the new Knight Rider is so shockingly awful I was almost laughing, but then they tried to mess with my Billy from BSG and things got personal.
There is much to despise in Knight Rider, a shockingly incompetent, barely coherent, ad-driven rip-off about a shape-shifting autobot that owes more to Transformers than it does to the cheesy '80s original that shares its name.
Of course, everything that made the original fun and unique has effectively been scrubbed away from this new edition that's all about high-tech gadgetry, speed and sex and only the tiniest shred about story and personality.
