In a new, exciting and terrifying series, Kimberly suffers a severe fear of exposed places. She has not left her home long after her father was killed. It seems that everything will be terrifying for her in her home; she does not know where she will leave and who the person she will go to is.
"All That We Destroy" is brimming with ideas and compelling moral quandaries, so much so that as the film barrelled towards the climax, I found myself wishing there was more time to delve into several of these characters before things got wrapped up.
Violent cinematography and Broussard's commitment to robotic depravity are the highlights here, making for another by-the-books Into The Dark watch that's recommendable enough for your late-night streaming needs.
One image specifically- of the tangled nest art piece at the gallery- is such a heartbreaking, vivid symbol of a twisted family home... A fantastic episode, all around.
It (characters' relationship) is a twisted co-dependent dynamic, made all the more intense by their isolation... This is a smart and stylish entry into the genre.
All That We Destroy" is a great example of a genre movie with interesting ideas but a lack of ability to tie them together into something that works as entertainment.
