The second season completes new events when archaeological excavations discover a group of scrolls, which are believed to contain Merlin spells. On the other hand, Macbeth sends new mercenaries to try to capture the scrolls, but Garraguel succeeds in stopping it. These people will be separated from Hudson and Broadway in the process and both have one dangerous scroll container.
For all the times that the show lost me for being too heavy-handed or too melodramatic, it won me back by developing its history, expanding its characters, and toying around with Shakespearean stories.
