Season 2 opens with Jonathan hired by a police officer to erase the hard drive of an S&M dungeon computer to prevent potentially embarrassing information from coming out as the officer has received word that the club is about to be raided.
Far from an empty barrage of one-liners and absurd scenarios, Bored to Death offers one or two poignant scenes per episode, dramatic interludes that nonetheless feel organic with the larger, somewhat farcical mood.
