Through a series of exciting surprises, season 5 begins dramatically. The season opens with Frank, who seems to be in a very difficult position because of a record-holder with controversial behavior, and Danny has asked Irene to charge murder charges against a man who shot a 15-year-old girl. On the other hand, Jimmy and Eddie are trying to retaliate in order to steal the collar of the investigator secretly and mysteriously.
The barbs that flew between Jamie and Danny across the Sunday dinner table were great fun. They all acted a bit like 5th graders but that's what siblings do sometimes and as annoying as it can be to be in the middle of, it's an awful lot of fun to watch.
