The second season of the action and thriller series 9-1-1 which takes a deep look behind those people who have an important responsibility to keep Los Angeles and its' people in safe. In the opening of this season we see an unfortunate day that sees various troubles from the death of many tourists to the soldier who has a bomb tied with his leg.
The beauty and nuance of 9-1-1 is its ability to draw us into each of these characters and make us feel like we are them. We are the heroes in the story.
Watching the team mobilize and literally deflate a mechanic is an effective early example of how compact and efficient some of these "911" stories can sometimes be.
