The movie revolves around the life of Mr. Freddy Shoop, the high school coach who has started making big plans for the summer but is forced to cancel it. All of these summer plans have been canceled in order to teach the English language class to inappropriate students. Things are beginning to turn into a different path, as Faridy begins engaging in pleasant field trips, ideally with them.
Mr. Harmon has an easygoing attractiveness, but neither he nor anyone else seems comfortable with the film's antic pace. And for all its busyness, this comedy has no real focus, ricocheting from character to character with wearying abandon.

Cliches abound in this silly outing. Not the brightest moment for any of those involved.

Reiner keeps everything moving while letting Harmon do the heavy lifting as his young co-stars sprinkle the chuckles around.
