Season 2 completes a series of strong surprises, as the conflicting Torchwood team is on a new path after seeing Captain Jack suddenly return to their lives. At those moments, Jack tries to return as if nothing had happened, but he soon found that some things had changed since his disappearance throughout this period.
"Torchwood" gets off to a lighter, more rousing start in its second season premiere. There's a better balance between the darker and lighter elements, a mix of relationship drama and character comedy.
