The series tells about the two brothers: the most famous lawyer and the other, a real lawyer in a small town. Things seem to be completely changing someday as TV lawyer Dean Sanderson returns to his small town after spending an important period in Hollywood believing that he should have a different experience in his life.
It works because, instead of running from them, it embraces and celebrates the conventions of broadcast TV. It doesn't try to be a cable series. In a strange way this season, that makes it the cool show.
Rob Lowe and Fred Savage play brothers, which by itself requires a massive suspension of disbelief. Savage's Stewart Anderson is a lawyer, and Lowe's Dean Anderson plays one on TV. WORLDS COLLIDE.
