O'Hara makes what could be an unlikable character utterly lovable with her spot-on delivery and timing. In practically every episode she exhibits what the youths call "Mood" energy.
Schitt's Creek is gentler and happier than what we've come to expect from most contemporary comedy. Its tone is silly and ruefully affectionate, not bitter. It's Canadian, after all.
