Orphan Black - Season 4, Episode 07: The Antisocialism of Sex
Trailer
It's back to basics for the cult show as the fourth season kicks off in lean, fresh and easier-to-follow fashion. Season 4 opens with Sarah's hard-won refuge in Iceland getting shattered by a Neolution attack...
Three episodes to go, and the possibilities for how the season will end are many. The only sure thing is that Orphan Black is having an excellent season so far.
Following last week's heartbreaking episode in which Evie Cho effectively eliminated Kendall Malone and all hopes for a genetic cure, the Leda clones faced their own downward spirals in this week's dark offering.
Each character's particular form of suffering is exquisitely, uniquely painful - which means, when they do rally, it's all the more satisfying. Just as they're all about to fall apart, they don't. We're making progress! Dynamic character growth!
While not necessary as exciting (and certainly not as game-changing) as Orphan Black Season 4 Episode 6, "The Antisocialism of Sex" was a great character-driven (rather than plot-driven) installment.
Sad times are upon us: None of our girls are dealing particularly well with their grandmother/sister/genetic original's untimely demise at the hands of Evie Cho and her pet cop Martin Duko.
