Sequel to the previous season, this season takes a dive into the deepening relationships between the roommates in the loft, and with Jess' lifelong best friend, Cece.
New Girl is the rare mainstream sitcom that's exceedingly at ease in discussing race, largely because it acknowledges the characters' well-meaning, flawed views, and plays them for eye rolls and laughs.
Overall, "Elaine's Big Day" is a very good finale to what has been an exceptional second season of New Girl, and we should await the third season with baited breath.
