In a new and exciting fifth season, the season offers a wide range of events as Khadija has a date with Cedric Cebalus of the Phoenix Suns. She feels very tense before she gets headaches, and Max gives her four of what she thinks is aspirin, but it turns out to be sedative. An older man comes to Synclaire and the new Overton apartment, looking for the former tenant, but can not bring themselves to tell him she died.
