We come back again to start that strong series through new elements and stronger scenes, where we start with Wadata, a state located in West Africa, having an honest president, Simeon Mutu, about to be limited in duration. His brother, Alexander Mutu, has diamond mines in the conflict, diamond smuggling, and one CIA intelligence. Of course, aspire to a public office. Nate, Parker and Elliot are destroyed in Alexander's campaign, Sophie uses some accents to perform Perceptual Management and offers Hardison as Timmy, a musical miracle of Wadata.
Really, the bar we should judge shows like Leverage by is how entertaining they are, and by almost any measure, I'd say season three was the most entertaining season of Leverage yet.
I'm not usually invested in the shady scheming going on in a typical Leverage episode, but I found this [premiere] pretty captivating, even if the story was mostly played for laughs.
What I find most enjoyable about Leverage are the small flashbacks where we see how something that was done earlier played into the overall success of the mission. It's like a fast-moving game of "where's Waldo."
