Embodying the conflict between Israel and Palestine, as Abu-Ahmed has a group that fights Israel and make missions to get rid of them, while Doron, an Israel agent, who make missions with his soldiers in Palestine against Abu-Ahmed. In this new season, Doron goes in a dangerous operation.
As always with "Fauda," the story spirals out in increasingly messy strands of betrayal and violence - the Arabic word fauda means chaos - as Doron and his team sneak into and out of the occupied territories to rescue, kidnap or kill.
A gripping thriller that is as connected to reality as a Dr. Phil or Dr. Oz comment on the coronavirus; something that draws from the headlines but isn't interested in delving deeper into them.
As "Fauda" finds its way to these sobering moments, it seems as if Raj and Issacharoff want to peel back the artifice to reveal the more sensitive observations lurking within Doron's situation.
