In a mysterious and horrifying atmosphere, the series presents a number of exciting stories that written by Stephen King, an American author. In the first season the series highlights on the life of a lawyer called Henry Deaver who has a dark past in his hometown, Castle Rock. After receiving an unknown-source call, Deaver has to go there, remembering his old past.
The music in Castle Rock - courtesy of composer Chris Westlake - has been nothing short of exemplary throughout the entire series, but in "The Queen" is practically becomes a character unto itself.
We needed The Queen. It's a reminder of what makes television a viable and extraordinary storytelling platform. It also shows that creators Sam Shaw, Dustin Thomason don't need King's direction to stand out.
After half a season of Easter eggs, slow pacing, and pure mood, [Castle Rock] delivered not only the best episode of the series, but one of the best episodes of television in 2018.
Television doesn't get much more heartbreaking than "The Queen," a showcase for the legendary Sissy Spacek and one of the best hours of television this year.
