In the third season, Karen tries to move to New York, where Hank Moody does his best to raise his daughter Becca away from Karen. Meanwhile, the task of parenting appears to be particularly difficult as Becca begins to question his authority during this period. Over time, Chelsea, Becca's best friend, has a fondness for sex, drugs and problems turning things upside down especially for those around him.
