Battlestar Galactica continues to be among the very best series on television, but in its third season, it faltered a bit, going by its own high standards.

If Crossroads, Part 2 didn't negate all criticisms [of season 3], it certainly made the case for the series as an intimate examination of the personal problems of a fleet at war, tempered by big action sequences and even bigger plot twists.
