The film revolves around Karl and his friendship with Dupree. At one point, Dupree was fired from his job due to Karl's wedding. It seems strange, especially when Dupree has to live with the young Carl family.
You, Me and Dupree overstays its welcome but a compilation reel of Wilson's scenes would make for fairly funny viewing.
