It looks like a different story from the habit, a neighborhood that speaks of a man, his family and his autobiography that appear differently. The film offers a realistic look at the good times and bad times of one of the most famous individuals in the West, one of the most influential people in the West.

Though handsome to look at (cinematography is by Owen Roizman), the movie is overlong, stately, and too detailed for its own good; director Kasdan claims his version if more accurate, which may be true, but it doesn't make for a good picture.
