Animation begins with Joker's new discovery, Terry McGinnis, Batman discovers the new mystery in Batman's original life. The real story of the night Batman fought Joker for the last time. Although Bruce Wayne is almost dead in one of the new Joker attacks, it is up to Batman Beyond to avenge his mentor and put Joker in rest forever.
