Following the struggles of a young courageous girl, Vanessa Helsing, who is a distant relative to the most well known vampires hunter in the world, Abraham Van Helsing, struggles against the vampires invasion of the world, so she does her best to chase them by receiving help from her closed friends.
The introspective tone of this episode, plus the stellar performances from both Kelly Overton and Missy Peregrym, made "Crooked Steps" the very best episode of season 3 so far.
