In a comedy atmosphere, this drama series, follows the daily activity of a trio of deranged housewives with the same name, Debras, who live in their own and affluent world in Lemoncurd, Conn.
Based on the avant-garde comedy creator-stars Sandy Honig, Mitra Jouhari and Alyssa Stonoha have been performing for years, the show is delightfully absurdist.
The look and feel of the series vaguely recall the ceremonial suburban melodrama of David Lynch's "Blue Velvet," or early Hal Hartley films, while being less romantic and more surreal than either.
