The end of the eighth season of The Walking Dead gave us a glimpse into the plot of Season nine, which is clearly going to split in the heroes for the first time and is likely to evolve into direct confrontation. Rick and Michonne have eventually decided to keep the Negan alive, which provoked the wrath of Maggie and Daryl, who desperately wanted to avenge him. At the end of the events, both showed their full readiness to do anything for revenge. So, the ninth season comes up with new exciting stories among all and we may see a civil war.

It's a nice change of pace, showing characters that actually communicate with one another - and especially after seasons that so often had people make hasty and dumb decisions without even talking to their friends and allies.
