The fifth season seems to be quite different, offering a wide range of powerful and varied events. The season opens with Doug and Carrie getting new neighbors who are really clean and high-class characters. When they recognize her, Carrie feels she and Doug are under them. Carrie is already beginning to pay attention to what they think. Arthur stays thinking of sneaky ways to impress Spence in getting into the metro for free.
