The second season centers on former FBI agent Ryan Hardy and his niece, NYPD detective Max Hardy and their attempts to find serial killer Joe Carroll following Joe';s faked death. After several bizarre incidents, however, Ryan realizes that Carroll’s bloody web of murder is not over.
All in all, a fairly solid opener, with lots of action and set-up to get you hooked all over again. It will definitely be interesting to see where all of this is going.
This season instantly ratchets up the sadism with the aforementioned treatment of a comely corpse as a living doll. Unlike the first time around, that's pretty much doused my interest in playing along any further.
