After leaving her hometown years ago, Camille Preaker becomes a reporter in a famous newspaper. When a murder of two girls occur in her hometown, she is tasked to go their to cover it, the thing which may lead her to bad memories specially when she discovers that she knows the two girls.
Closer does something only a visual medium can do: It gives a panoramic view of the town that is, as much as the murder mystery, the show's central subject.
What people are missing is the sociopath in a babydoll dress standing right in front of them. And in "Closer," she displays flashes of real menace and manipulation.
