Outlander - Season 5, Episode 04: The Company We Keep
Trailer
According to the excitement of that series that follows Calire Randall, a keen and lovely battle nurture, who lives in congruity with her husband and gets ready for having another special honeymoon with him, after the end of the Second World War, however when she has been reclaimed on time to the time of 1743, her life flips around, as she needs to wed a Scottish warrior. In this new season, an extraordinary festival for the wedding of Briana and Roger.
Outlander has long been about the risks and sacrifices people make for romance, and while it's absolutely schmaltzy at times, this glowy, gushing heart it has is an endearing part of the show.
"The Company We Keep" will remain a highlight of the season as it packed new characters and new storylines into an already crowded story. Despite this, the episode does not seem rushed, nor too complicated, and gives enough space to each narrative.
Claire and Laoghaire were frenemies at best, but this relationship between their daughters is shaping up to be a quietly supportive one, and it's one of the things I love most about this show.
This episode may be a harder sell for the Outlander TV audience, but the episode makes up for that by giving us a milestone in Jamie and Claire's relationship development.
After the horror show at the Beardsleys' cabin in last week's "Outlander" episode, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) found themselves heading out to rejoin the militia with an infant in tow.
This episode was the best yet this season in my opinion, finally lacing through some of that deep love and feeling that makes Claire, Jamie, Roger, and Bree tick.
