Following the struggles and adventures of William Murdoch, a young courageous and intelligent police officer, who during the 1980s, did his best and used the modern forensic techniques, such as fingerprint, in order to solve the mysterious murders that took place. In this new season, William travels to Buffalo, in order to investigate in the suspicious death of a cancer patient.
