The second season completes a new series of events, as things start with a new invention that shakes Eddie's works. During this period, Prince Chunkley deals to live up to the expectations that his father thinks. Over time, Prince Chunkley is still trying to overcome the problem of losing one of his favorite heroes, and at the same time he is playing alongside Lord Wexler a diplomatic mission.
The cast, though, greatly outshines the writing, which goes for absurd and oh-so-random humor in a way that feels undercooked and oblivious to the humor that might emerge from the setting more organically... Still good for a giggle, though.
The philosophical comedy may seem slight compared to The Good Place, but Miracle Workers reckons with many of the same questions about goodness and free will.
