Henrietta realizes that she has a miraculous ability to move immediately after she has exposed the life of a young boy at her school because of her exposure and attempted rape. Henrietta is a 16-year-old girl trying to reconcile her feelings of abuse with her feelings as a girl.
It's weakly plotted, but appropriate for a show that wants to make you think it's a young adult action franchise starter, when it's really an interesting and somber character study with a heroine who, very rarely, teleports.
It's a show that has moves to play and story to tell. It could have failed dramatically thanks to a complete lack of humor, but this is one of the truly rare instances where excitable gags would have taken away from what can be.
