Philo and Brutus decided to play a new joke but their timing would be quite bad. On the other hand, Harka sends a message to Ferran at that time, and Vitus returns a message to Aulus that brings things back to a different turn. It seems that Ania will be in an impossible situation, and Lucius is in a new experience when Domitius attacks with her confession.
None of this amounts to much dramatically or emotionally, of course. Britannia is one of those shows you just have to imbibe, celebrating that it has the sheer cheek even to exist. Praise the capricious TV gods!
Astonishing costumes and make up, prop heads and limbs, brutal deaths, a jam factory's worth of red goo, brilliantly offbeat musical choices pillaged from Sixties and Seventies electro-folk -- everything has been ramped up for series two.
