Season 10 begins with a series of comedy situations, as Bam's sandwich destroys everyone's dinner because of something deep inside. Meanwhile in the depths of the space, Archer and the crew face a monster that seems to be very dangerous but face strong self-coach and diverse skills, and Archer and the crew pick up one of the hikers exceptionally.
The best thing to come out of the show's shifts in focus is the way Archer can now reinvent the central characters every season, while still maintaining their dysfunctional dynamic.
Archer: 1999 is very much what "Archer" has been for the past three seasons and change: filled with lush visuals, quick wit, and inventive, genre-inspired storytelling.
The noir Dreamland season, though beautifully drawn, is more somber than the colorful Archer: Danger Island" Each had their charms, but neither could match the original's level of humor. But 1999 comes pretty close.
